Jacqueline Lamme
Dutch artist (1964), born in Hilversum, the Netherlands. She studied at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
While most of her works are paintings, she also makes drawings and ceramics, often mixed in installations. Since 2000 she works in the Amsterdam Artis Zoo at the Artis Ateliers as a professor in painting and drawing. Jacqueline Lamme chooses her themes in the nearby environment. Currently she is inspired by observations of animals at the edges of Amsterdam, especially birds. Her works are shown in many exhibitions in the Netherlands and abroad.
